Stock Reman Turbochargers

Our stock remanufactured turbocharger is a basic overhaul of the stock turbocharger.  We require the turbocharger core to be rebuildable.  If the core is not buildable, we supply you with a new CHRA (center housing rotating assembly for and extra charge.  When you need stock turbocharger repair, please fill out this form and include it with the turbo shipment. BNR Turbocharger Upgrades

BNR Supercars has developed some really good choices when it comes to Subaru turbochargers.  We engineered the turbocharger upgrades to be the best fitting aftermarket turbochargers available!  All the other aftermarket companies position the turbocharger intakes right next to the intake manifolds and every one of them have a hard time fitting intake pipes.  Our casting for the turbine housing is offset to position the turbocharger intake further away from the intake manifold.  More clearance around the intake makes it much easier to work with installing.  Just ask anyone who installs stock location turbocharger upgrades!

We have lots of different options from mild to 500 BHP that are 100% drop in with zero fabrication required.  Every unit has high-performance 360 degree thrust bearings that can withstand rotating assembly speeds of 200K RPM!  To help you decide which turbo you want here is my opinion on turbocharger selection.

If you have a 2.0L engine its best to keep the turbo on the small side (EVO3 16).  When you do a 350-+ AWHP turbo (18G or bigger) on the 2.0, the engine doesn’t get much load until the upper rpm in first gear.  Bog launching and dropping boost between shifts will make you slower than what you would be with a smaller turbo with way less abuse!  The 2.5L engine doesn’t really have a problem getting turbos going.  You can spool most any of the stock location turbocharger upgrades!  These units are new and require no core exchange.  Here is what BNR Supercars offers you!

The 20G is a heavy hitter for the WRX.  With the 2.5L engines these turbos get full spool at an estimated 3500 RPM with a potential maximum hp of 400 AWHP.  Definitely recommend a forged engine for this turbocharger.  Had a customer run 11.4 at 120 with this turbocharger at 26 psi.  This is what you get when you purchase the BNR 20G:
